A CIRCLE PRACTICE

~ of awareness, deepening heart and intuitive expression

I was first taught 'the circle way' by Manintonquat ~ Medicine Story
- native American descendant, who adapted old wisdom into experimental ways of his present time (1929-2018)
Since then my experience has been widened through many more and different circles - hosted by others and by myself.

Please, bring in Your inspired ideas, tools and trainings,
to widen and deepen the practice!

IN THE FOCUSED SPACE OF THE CIRCLE
bear witness and be witnessed

In the circle, we are invited to meet face to face
~ to listen, sense and be seen.

Each of us is given time and space to share.
Everyone holds a position of attention towards the shared.
Every circle is different. What arises in this particular time and constellation of people is unique.

This space is our shared physical and subtle field ~ created by all that we bring, internally and through expression.
Sometimes we build a field of heart and spirit that may hold alchemical / transformational processes.

SETTING AN OVERALL INTENTION THAT TOUCHES YOU.

Suggestion:
Create a conscious prayer for the wholeness of being
that counteracts your core wound.

Somehow make space for it in the beginning of the circle.

This is mine:

MAY ALL THAT I AM AND DO BE OF BENEFIT
TO THOSE AROUND, MYSELF AND THE GREATER WHOLE.
LET ME KNOW WHEN IT IS NOT !

MAY ALL ENERGY FLOWING IN AND THROUGH MY BODY
BE IN SERVICE OF THE PLANET AND FOR THE GREATEST GOOD

WE ARE ALL ONE

THESE GUIDING PRINCIPLES of a shared approach,
are set to inspire - not impose or restrict.
They help integrate attentive awareness towards ourselves, eachother and the wholeness.

They are build on basic common principles and widened a bit.
Intended to support us in moving from the busy mind
towards a more sensed wholeness.
They address issues such as relational awareness,
inner processing, selfcare and authenticity.
Holding space for integrity, intense sensitivity,
widening perception, deepening of heart.
Making space to allow each other and ourselves
to deeply, freely breathe and express oneself on all levels.

suggested guidelines and intentions

BEING A LISTENER ~ is witnessing with our presence
connected listening
- is a training in listening with more than ears,
to more than is being said
- embracing - focusing on the light/potential
in the other and between us
listen from the heart
- an intend of compassion and equality
- find meeting points / acknowledge
- respect differences.
 when judgement comes
- own your reactions, learn from its projection and let go
- maybe shift focus from mind/emotion to body and heart
 no feedback or comments
- unless asked for or given permission to

SHARING ~ is our vibration, a gift expressed
connected sharing
- any language of expression is welcomed,
words / other than words.
Whatever connects us deeper to ourselves in the moment.
share from the heart
- from your sence of realness
☆ share 'what is' in the moment
- try being spontaneous, surprise yourself.
What comes may be silent, silly, bold.
It may be brilliant.
with focus ~ what feels important
 - no more ~ no less
☆ from the 'me' experience
embodying our insights.
- downplay mental mission or eager to fit in
stay on own ground
- do not comment on another's sharing (respecting integrity)
- you may share what it touches in you
keep in mind the time and size of the circle
 - leaving time for everyone

HOSTING/CO-HOSTING AND SELFCARE
hosting in tune with intend and true needs
     - surrendered, intuitive leadership
the 'time out' and co-creator obtion
- gives the opportunity for everyone to suggest a change in flow
- or if overwhelmed/provoked/thrilled,
we can pause the line of the circle to openly process
our energies, thoughts and emotions
- or maybe leave the circle a while for self-care

THE ONE RULE:
WHAT HAPPENS IN THE CIRCLE ~ STAYS IN THE CIRCLE
- a promise of keeping confidentiality

INVITE FOR A CIRCLE ~ YOUR OWN WAY
We can make our own agreements in line with a particular purpose
of the gathering and the composition of people.

Maybe take these guidelines as an inspiration
to be reflected upon, evolved, changed
whenever needed.
